Angola Indiana Child Photographer: 4 Year Portraits
My daughter actually asked me to take her 4 year portraits. This coming from the girl who would rather play with worms and see how fast she can ride her bike before I tell her to put the brakes on. So I happily obliged even considering my *condition*.
We started preparing the night before with a bath, discussion of clothing, manicure, and tattoo removal. Then we continued the process in the morning with hair and putting our clothing plan into action which was harder said than done. And after several crying and screaming tantrums we made it out the door just in time to drop big brother off to preschool.
Then we were off for a stroll around downtown Angola, Indiana to search for unique little spots for portraits. I was delighted to find this little niche with the rusty orange and burgundy red colors.
We took a little time to smell the roses…um, dandelions.
And if you’ve seen me lately, you know why she’s laughing at me…mom’s never going to be able to get up from that position.

Another fun little pocket of color and texture here.

And with purple as her favorite color, we just couldn’t pass up this spot.
The portrait below wasn’t part of our Angola session today but I thought I’d include it anyway.

Oh my goodness look how much she has grown up! Her hair is so long now (and it looks like it’s getting darker). GORGEOUS!
OMG…Tonya, those are so cute…when you are visiting your Mom, I would so love to have you take my kids photos. Those are awesome.
She’s gorgeous! And you’re amazing! These photos are fantastic!!
Love all the portraits! Especially the one where even I’m wondering how you got up!! I even noticed the pretty nail polish. 4 years, really, already?
She’s beautiful! I love the locations you found for her. And laughing at your comments about getting up. Although you have a much better reason it’s difficult than I do…
Oh good gosh, she is NOT NOT NOT already FOUR!!!! I am DYING here…and i literally have tears in my eyes..and not just cuz she and i share the same favorite color.
Tonya she’s spectacular as are the moments you captured xoxoxoxo
She is a sweetheart!!! Beautiful!
She is adorable! Great job.
Ah, I will never tire of miss thing! Love the purple wall one, so sassy! And her close ups are, of course, stunning. She is really growing up! We need some recents of big brother too!
And what have I missed?! What’s your, ahem, conditioni?! Spill it! I’m out of the loop!
Oh gosh she is as cute as a button!! How wonderful that you were able to capture these for her (and for you!)
awww, I’m tearing up a little! last days as the only little girl in town.:)What a great moment to capture (and at her request!!). She is looking so grown-up, and so beautiful–I think it makes her photos even more stunning knowing the spunky personality behind them. The dandelion one and the one laughing at mama make me just want to grab her and give her a big hug!!
She’s a beauty! Love her blue eyes with her darker hair–she is adorable.
Awesome pics!
